The Hare Krishna! Movie Won the Illuminate Film Festival 2017

Great news! The Movie of Hare Krishna! The Mantra, The Movement And The Swami Who Started It All won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Film at the "Illuminate" festival, the main award of the festival!

Illuminate is the world's largest conscious cinema festival, and the "Hare Krishna!" movie was one of the 10 films competing for the top prize this year. Jury Chairman Michael Kineret said they awarded the film, which, in their opinion, had the potential to "reach the widest audience and have the greatest impact".

"Hare Krishna!" is a documentary film about the life of Srila Prabhupada, a 70-year-old Indian Swami who arrived in America without support or money in the 1960s. Immersed in the turbulent counterculture of those times, he speaks about the most essential thing in this world - a revolution in consciousness. This captures the attention of the young generation seeking answers and gives birth to a worldwide spiritual phenomenon now known as the Hare Krishna Movement.
